Saint Peter's Station, Ghent, Belgium


This station - Sint-Pietersstatie/Gare Saint Pierre - was built for the occasion of the 1913 World Exhibition in Ghent, designed by architect Louis Cloquet and finished in 1912.

The station is built in an distinctive style with a long corridor dividing the building along its length which provides access to diverse facilities. The station was classified as an historic monument in 1995 and since 1996 it has been undergoing renovation.
